Mailgestor documentation
Mailgestor Cloud archives a Gmail, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailbox once, hands you the mail, calendar and contacts in open formats, and then deletes its copy. One licence archives one mailbox. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
This guide covers everything the app can do and how to set it up, from the first connection to the last download.

The shape of it

What Mailgestor never does
- It never sends, moves or deletes anything in the source mailbox. Access is read-only throughout.
- It never keeps anything longer than it should. Exports are deleted seven days after they are built. An archive is deleted six months after its last archive pass, with a week's notice by email during which it can be kept for another six months, or sooner if you delete it yourself. A connection that has not run a job for six months is disconnected.
- It never shows or logs the credentials it holds for a mailbox.
