Licences and pricing
One licence archives one mailbox. Licences are bought in blocks, sit on the account's balance, never expire, and are spent when a job starts.
What a licence covers
A mailbox of up to 50 GB: mail, calendar and contacts; every export format; browsing in the app; and seven days of hosted download for each export you build. Mailboxes over 50 GB are refused when the job is measured.
Prices
Prices step down within a single purchase, like tax bands. In pounds sterling, excluding VAT:
| Licences in one purchase | Per licence |
|---|---|
| 1 to 4 | £20 |
| 5 to 19 | £16 |
| 20 to 49 | £13 |
| 50 or more | £10 |
In a purchase of 30, the first 4 cost £20, the next 15 cost £16 and the remaining 11 cost £13, so 30 licences cost £463. Every extra licence costs something; there is no point at which buying more costs less in total.
| Purchase | Total |
|---|---|
| 1 licence | £20 |
| 5 licences | £96 |
| 10 licences | £176 |
| 20 licences | £333 |
| 50 licences | £720 |
| 100 licences | £1,220 |
The Licences page works out any quantity before you buy.
Buying
Open Licences, enter the quantity and choose Buy. Stripe Checkout opens with one line per price band. Card and the local payment methods Stripe offers are accepted. When the payment completes, the licences appear on the balance within a few seconds and the page updates on its own. A checkout you abandon leaves nothing behind.
The balance
The Licences page shows licences available, licences used by jobs, licences that pending jobs would need, and every purchase. Starting a job takes one licence per mailbox. A failed job keeps its licences until it is cancelled, so a retry costs nothing. Cancelling a job returns its licences.
Quotes
For larger or unusual orders, ask for a quote. It appears on the Licences page at the agreed price with a Pay button that opens the same checkout. A quote stays open until it is paid or withdrawn.
Refunds
A refund is made by Mailgestor on request. It marks the purchase refunded and lowers the balance by its licences at once. If those licences were already spent, the balance goes negative and no job can start until more are bought. Files already delivered stay until they expire.
VAT and receipts
Prices exclude VAT, which Stripe adds at checkout where it applies. Stripe emails the receipt.
